Bob Moses: Dynamic Digital Stage Installation

In the fall of 2015, I concepted, built and packed up a conprehensive stage installation for Grammy-nominated EDM duo, Bob Moses. The stage design consists of eight transparent screens, synced stage lighting, and frequency-responsive projected graphics. The geometric graphics are mapped and projected onto the series of transparent screens, creating a notion of false depth. To run dynamic graphics, I built a bespoke VJ interface allowing me to switch styles via laptop keys while graphics are generated by the realtime audio of the performance. Frequency and tempo are used as input via FFT algorithms and an Audiobox sending a direct matrix of the show’s inputs.
