Oculus Quest: Casting

With one mobile headset on the market (Go), and another coming (Quest), Oculus wanted to update and improve their Casting: and experience that allows users to share what they are seeing on mobile headsets with nearby screens.

I led a design sprint to redesign Oculus’s Casting experience in preparation for the Oculus Quest launch (May 2019). Initially, users could only initiate Casting from within their Oculus Go. The redesign allows users to initiate a Cast from their phone and quickly choose from multiple source headsets and destinations.
